Our open houses are held at our “sugar shack” at 1069 Polk Hollow Road just west of Chillicothe where you can learn how we make our pure maple syrup. We’ll show you how we tap the trees, collect and concentrate the sap, boil it down to syrup and bottle it. If the weather’s right, you’ll actually see the sap flowing. You can also try our maple syrup on homemade pancakes. While the pancake meal is free, we will be accepting donations of any amount to a local ministry that supports foster families. Please come join us and share in the joy of real maple syrup.

Uncle Bob’s Maple Syrup is proud to serve southern Ohio as a small family business owned by six sisters and operated in conjunction with our uncle and general manager, Bob Williams, the business’s namesake.
In 2019, Uncle Bob helped us start developing our maple farm outside the city of Chillicothe located in southern Ohio. With the help of the farm's previous owner and operator, we were able to harvest our first crop of sap during the late winter and early spring of 2020.
In the subsequent years, we’ve been able to grow the operation from about 250 taps to over 1000 in order to meet the demands of our loyal customers.
Uncle Bob’s pure maple syrup is distilled from the sap of a variety of southern Ohio maple species in late winter every year. It takes about 50 gallons of pure sap to make one gallon of pure syrup. We collect it from the trees using several miles of tubing which transports it to our “sugar shack” where we use Reverse Osmosis to remove about 3/4 of the water from the sap, boil it down to syrup, infuse it with various flavors as desired, and bottle it for your enjoyment.

During our off-season we are only open to visitors by appointment, but product pickup is still available upon request. Please place your order through our online store and choose the Pick-Up option. We also deliver for a fee.
